What is the CW12MW Hastelloy ball valve
CW12MW Hastelloy ball valve is a Hastelloy grade, mainly used for corrosion-resistant valves are Hastelloy B (Hastelloy B) and Hastelloy C (Hastelloy C). The cast alloy grades of Hastelloy B (Hastelloy B) are N-12MV (N-12M-1) and N-7M in the ASTM A494 standard (some materials call it N-12M-2, also known as Chlorimet 2 alloy), its rolling material grade is UNS N10665 in ASTM B335 standard. Hastelloy B is resistant to various concentrations of hydrochloric acid, as well as non-oxidizing salts and acids. The corrosion-resistant valve of Hastelloy B is suitable for corrosion resistance and intergranular corrosion resistance.
Use low carbon grade Hastelloy B (N-7M). The material code of Hastelloy has not been stipulated in the valve industry. The material code of Hastelloy B valve can be directly represented by its cast alloy grade. The suitable working temperature of Hastelloy B is -29℃~425℃. The casting alloy grades of Hastelloy C (Hastelloy C) are CW-12MW (some materials call it CW-12M-1) and CW-7M (CW-12M-2, also called Chlorimet3 alloy) and HastelloyC- 276 alloy, its casting alloy grade is CW-6MC and HastelloyC-4 alloy, and its casting alloy grade is CW-2M. Cast Hastelloy CW-7M, CW-12MW, CW-6MC and CW-2M, the corresponding rolling material grades are UNS N10001, UNS N10003, UNSN10276 and UNS N06455 respectively. Hastelloy C is resistant to oxidizing solvents, low concentrations of hydrochloric acid and nitric acid at room temperature. The first generation Hastelloy C (0Cr16Ni60Mo16W4) is characterized by excellent corrosion resistance in strong corrosive oxidizing and reducing acid media, but because the high-nickel corrosion-resistant alloy is austenitic structure, because Ni reduces C in austenite. solid solubility in the body, etc. Therefore, both Ni-Mo-based HastelloyB and Ni-Mo-Cr-based HastelloyC alloys have serious intergranular corrosion tendencies or susceptibility, which can also lead to stress corrosion and crevice corrosion at high temperatures. In order to overcome intergranular corrosion, the second-generation Hastelloy C-276 (C was reduced from 0.12% to 6%) and the third-generation Hastelloy C-HastelloyC-4 were introduced, which are characterized by low Si (Si≤0108%) and ultra-micro C (C≤01015%), and the content of Fe and W is reduced, and stabilized alloying element Ti is added.
For the corrosion-resistant valve of CW12MW Hastelloy ball valve, considering the corrosion resistance and intergranular corrosion resistance, Hastelloy C-276 (CW-6MC) and Hastelloy C-4 (CW-2M) should be selected. Hastelloy C valve has many material codes, and the performance and working temperature are very different, so CW-12MW, CW-7M, CW-6MC and CW-2M
Respectively represented by HC-12, HC-7, HC-276 and HC-4, or directly represented by their cast alloy grades. The suitable working temperature of Hastelloy CW-7M and UNSN10001 alloy is -29 ~ 425 ℃,
CW12MW Hastelloy Ball Valve The suitable working temperature of Hastelloy CW-12MW and UNSN10003 alloy is -29~700℃, the suitable working temperature of Hastelloy CW-6MC and UNSN10276 alloy is -29~676℃, Hastelloy CW- The suitable working temperature of 2M and UNSN06455 alloy is -29~425℃.
